Bio

Rachel Follmar, known as “Rachel of the Rose”, is a vocalist, improvisational songweaver, and intentional songwriter, focused on channelling the divinings of the divine into your ears, hearts, and souls.

Through vocal looping harmonies with her multi-octave range, intentional lyrics, the tickling of ivories, the beating of her hand drum, and blending of genres from jazz to metal to avant-garde folk, Rachel sees her voice and her body as a vessel through which the Divine can travel to bring healing frequencies to the Collective.

Rachel’s original music has been compared to Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco, Ayla Nereo, Amy Lee, Marya Stark, and Brandi Carlile.

In addition to performing solo, she also performs with her husband, Evan Follmar, in their duo, Heaven & Ritual, and alongside him, “Geoffrey”, and Ed Stanley in their improvisational metal project, g0dsm0msd0g. She also provides improvisational vocals and bird sounds for sound healing events, both solo and in collaboration with other artists.

You can find Rachel’s single, “Metamorphosis”, on all streaming platforms.
